Vertical Blinds

Vertical Blinds

Vertical blinds have been used in the workplace for many years and are still one of the most popular office blinds on the market. Over the years different vertical blind fabrics have been developed to adapt to the demands of the working environment, from general dimout or blackout solutions to solar control and anti-bacterial remedies.

With 89mm and 127mm louvres available in a wide range of colours and textures, all our vertical blind fabrics are flame retardant and comply with the BS5867 (1980 Part 2 Type B) standard.

Vertical blinds in Solar Protective Coating (SPC) fabrics comply with Health and Safety regulations in the workplace by reducing solar heat gain.

Blackout vertical blind fabrics which completely cut out light penetration through the PVC material are a popular choice for meeting rooms and boardrooms.

Screen fabric vertical blinds are becoming a more commonly specified window covering, offering an ultra-violet protection factor tested to European UV Standard 801. This vertical blind is effective where the aim is to filter the light whilst still allowing a view out of the window.

Anti-microbial vertical blind fabrics are one of the latest and most innovative fabrics to be developed. This specialised anti-bacterial fabric is designed to inhibit the growth of a wide range of micro-organisms such as MRSA and E-coli, of particular benefit to hospitals.
